چکیده

Although rice paddy fields are one of the world’s largest anthropogenic sources methane CH4, budget ecosystem CH4 and its’ controls in paddies remain unclear. Here, we analyze seasonal dynamics direct ecosystem-scale measurements flux a rice-wheat rotation agroecosystem over 3 consecutive years. Results showed that averaged CO2 uptakes emissions seasons were 2.2 20.9 folds wheat seasons, respectively. In sum, wheat-rice acted as large net C sink (averaged 460.79 g m−2) GHG 174.38 CO2eq source except for year (2016) with very high seeding density. While linear correlation between daily fluxes gross productivity (GEP) was not significant whole season, significantly correlated to GEP both before (R2: 0.52–0.83) after mid-season drainage 0.71–0.79). Furthermore, F partial test much greater than any other variable including soil temperature season each year. Meanwhile, parameters best-fit functions shifted growth stages. This study highlights is good predictor paddies.

Evaluation of rangeland gross primary productivity sensitivity potential to drought using ecosystem modelling

Gross primary productivity is one of the most important factors in the carbon cycle of terrestrial ecosystems. With global warming increase, the frequent drought events and the specific response of regional vegetation to these changes, it is essential to identify and quantify the relationships between climatic and GPP data in arid region. In this study, the responses of gross primary productivi...

Gross primary production, ecosystem respiration and net ecosystem exchange in Asian rice paddy: an eddy covariance-based approach

Carbon dioxide (CO2) exchange between the terrestrial ecosystems and the atmosphere is one of the major processes affecting atmospheric CO2 concentration. In various ecosystems in the world long-term observations of CO2 exchange have been made for assessing the role of terrestrial ecosystems in the present-day global CO2 budget and to predict its changes in the future climatic scenario. The edd...

Influence of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in sugarcane productivity under semiarid tropical agro ecosystem in India

Impact of Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) in sugarcane productivity was assessed through a field experiment from plant and ratoon sugarcane in Tamil Nadu, India. Control, 12.5 and 18.75 kg ha-1 of AMF along with 75% and 100% of phosphorous application were triedas treatments. 18.75 kg ha-1 AMF applied plots showed significant difference in germination percentage, tiller number, internode...

Statistical uncertainty of eddy flux–based estimates of gross ecosystem carbon exchange at Howland Forest, Maine

[1] We present an uncertainty analysis of gross ecosystem carbon exchange (GEE) estimates derived from 7 years of continuous eddy covariance measurements of forestatmosphere CO2 fluxes at Howland Forest, Maine, USA. These data, which have high temporal resolution, can be used to validate process modeling analyses, remote sensing assessments, and field surveys. However, separation of tower-based...
